Stephanie Polito graduated with a certificate from the Project Forward program at the College in 2016. She then completed early childhood education certification requirements in 2020. She is a valued employee as a teaching assistant at West Parish Family School in West Barnstable.
She contributes to the community as an ambassador and youth leader for Easter Seals. She is a motivational speaker, sharing her story that everyone can live a full life, no matter their disability.
Stephanie is also a board member for DREAM, a nationwide network of college students with disabilities. And she is part of the Esprit Players, a group of young adults with learning, developmental and related disabilities who perform talent shows on Cape Cod.
She gives her time regularly to the students of Project Forward. She shares about her journey and also makes herself available to assist Project Forward staff.
Staff of the program state that Stephanie makes the College community a better place through her dedication and selflessness. They insist that a more inspiring and engaging person cannot be found!
