I am a 2014 graduate of Cape Cod Community College (CCCC) in the Business Transfer Program. My time at CCCC was intellectually stimulating, fun, and rewarding. The relationships I formed on campus with professors, faculty and my fellow students has helped me grow as an individual and successfully prepared me for my future education and career. I am proud and grateful to be an alumnus of Cape Cod Community College.
CCCC prepared me for my future in ways that pleasantly extended far beyond my initial expectations. Almost immediately, I discovered that CCCC is an excellent school for students who seek an exceptional academic curriculum with professors who are brilliant, caring, and genuinely interested in helping their students grow as students and as individuals. Some of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life have occurred through my educational and extra-curricular assignments at CCCC. I’ve found that it was through my professor’s guidance and the exceptional quality of the education and extra-curricular opportunities available to me, that I was put in a position where I could truly hit the ground running in my future educational endeavors and career.
The College offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities that are easy to get involved in, fun, and rewarding. During my time on campus, I was fortunate to be a member of the student government, a presidential student ambassador, a peer tutor, a Phi Theta Kappa member, and an active member of several on-campus clubs. I was heavily involved in the honors program on campus, and I held the position of President of the Honors Club. The honors program afforded me the opportunity to present at several off-campus seminars and events, including the Northeast Regional Honors Council. These opportunities strengthened my ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and roles simultaneously—a skill that has been utilized in every aspect of my life since I’ve graduated.
After receiving my Associate’s degree at Cape Cod Community College, I transferred to Cornell University, and graduated two years later in 2016. After graduating from Cornell, I began working for Textron Inc. (Corporate) in Providence R.I., where I work and reside to this day.
I am extremely grateful for my time at Cape Cod Community College. I encourage any prospective student looking for exceptional education in a safe, fun and friendly environment to give CCCC strong consideration. CCCC consistently presents unique opportunities to strengthen every aspect of student life. I am proud to be an alumnus.
