(West Barnstable, MA-)—Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation held its annual Evening of Excellence Ceremony on Thursday, May 18, awarding $236,200 in scholarships to 124 students. Students were awarded scholarships for outstanding academic achievement, financial need, and campus and community involvement.
This year is the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Educational Foundation. The mission of the foundation is simple: to support the needs of the college, faculty and students. During those 40 years, the Foundation has raised more than $40 million to support 4Cs. The scholarship program is a cornerstone of the Foundation’s mission. The Foundation raises funds annually to fund scholarships, improve College facilities, support innovative programs for students and faculty, and to promote the essential role the College provides to the Cape Cod and Islands community.
